After an extended break at home in New Zealand, triple former women’s motocross world champion Courtney Duncan will shortly be heading back to Europe.
The Otago woman’s build-up for her 2023 campaign has begun in earnest, including racing appearances at the New Zealand Veterans’ and Women’s Motocross Championships near Cambridge in October and the annual King of the Mountain Motocross in Taranaki just last weekend.
The just-turned 27-year-old won’t be racing at this weekend’s 61st annual New Zealand Motocross Grand Prix at Woodville, but she does intend to race at a few more low-profile events in New Zealand before boarding her flight to the other side of the world.
We sat down for a quick chat with the popular Kiwi on Sunday and this is what she had to say …
